Autumn farming can be tough! Below get a glimpse of what a 26 degree frost can do to even the heartiest of winter crops. All of these plants should be just fine with a little time to re-grow healthy leaves.
Radishes and Hakura Turnips
Thanks for including us in the ups and downs of the growing season Jessica! It’s so amazing to be this connected to your food and see the trial and tribulations the little plants have to go through to get to our table and all the work you and Justin do to get it there.
Sorry to hear of the damage – we can wait! Just finished stir-frying a big batch of baby eggplants, onion, Bok choy, garlic & red bell pepper in a teriyaki marinade – heavenly!
Thanks foe the update. I’m sorry to hear about the damage. I know all those yummy veggies will be worth the wait!
Not to worry, Jessica and Justin. The produce will definitely be worth the wait. I’m just sorry for your trouble. Whodathunk that brassicas and turnips would take such a hit? Thank you for letting us know.
Is there anything we can do for you guys?
